{"id":1989,"date":"2022-02-12T07:10:11","date_gmt":"2022-02-12T07:10:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/csg.karnataka.gov.in\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&#038;p=1989"},"modified":"2023-01-07T06:05:26","modified_gmt":"2023-01-07T06:05:26","slug":"test-engineer","status":"publish","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/csg.karnataka.gov.in\/en\/jobs\/test-engineer\/","title":{"rendered":"Test Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Test Engineer<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualification:<\/strong> BE\/B.Tech\/MCA<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience &amp; Skills required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Should have minimum 3 years of relevant experience<\/li>\n<li>Should have good exposure to software process improvement activities.<\/li>\n<li>Should have hands-on experience in using testing tools as well as manual testing processes.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with software engineers to understand the requirements and modules developed so as to perform meaningful testing.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of the functionalities and features of the applications and services.<\/li>\n<li>Must have supported development, maintenance and support projects.<\/li>\n<li>Should have good understanding of SDLC.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Preferably proficient with Kannada Language &#8211; Speak, Read and Write<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Work closely with Business Analyst, Project Manager and Senior Software Engineer to understand the software application requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Take complete responsibility of application testing and ensure bug free application.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare test cases.<\/li>\n<li>Guide the team members in the testing process.<\/li>\n<li>Review the bug report prepared by the team.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the Testing team and ensure the software application is bug free.<\/li>\n<li>Support the team during UAT.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare necessary documentations.<\/li>\n<li>Any other work assigned by Director CSG<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Test Engineer Minimum Qualification: BE\/B.Tech\/MCA Experience &amp; Skills required: Should have minimum 3 years of relevant experience Should have good exposure to software process improvement activities.
